Memory Cards are intended to store data.
Tree Security levels could be achieved by memory cards:
- Unsecure Memory : Chip Card storing data, without any read or write protection
This card type can be counterfeited very easily.
- Protected Memory : Chip Card storing data with a protection code in order to write
This card type could be counterfeited for a read only usage.
- Secure Memory : Chip Card storing data protected by keys for writing and reading. Authentication and Stream Encryption are possible
This card type can not be counterfeited
